Inclusion and Respect
Photography is about people. My approach is simple. Everyone I work with is treated with the same level of care, respect, and attention, without assumptions or categories.
This page exists to explain how that shows up in practice.
A People-First Approach
I don’t believe in separating people into labels or boxes. Every client is an individual, and every story deserves to be documented thoughtfully and honestly.
My role is to listen, adapt, and photograph people as they are, not as they’re expected to be.
Communication and Comfort
Most conversations around preferences, names, or anything important happen naturally during the email consult. If there’s something you want me to know about how you’d like to be addressed, supported, or photographed, I want to hear it.
Clear communication makes everything smoother, and I’m always open to those conversations.
Creating a Comfortable Experience
Feeling comfortable in front of the camera matters. I work in a way that prioritizes ease, trust, and respect, especially during moments that feel personal or vulnerable.
That means:
Moving at a pace that feels right for you
Offering guidance without pressure
Adjusting my approach based on your comfort level
If something feels off, we adjust. The goal is for you to feel seen, not managed.
Accommodations and Flexibility
I’m happy to accommodate needs or preferences when they’re shared. That can include adjustments related to comfort, privacy, accessibility, or pacing.
There’s no formal checklist because every situation is different. What matters is being responsive and respectful when something comes up.
Privacy and Control
You remain in control of how your images are shared. Privacy is always respected, and nothing is ever posted or used without permission.
This is especially important for sessions that are personal in nature or moments that deserve discretion.
Experience Across Many Types of Celebrations
I photograph a wide range of events and sessions, including weddings, elopements, portraits, boudoir, and mitzvahs. Each comes with its own traditions, expectations, and rhythms.
My approach is to observe, respect the space I’m in, and document moments without intrusion.
What Matters Most
At the end of the day, inclusion isn’t a marketing angle. It’s about showing up with empathy, awareness, and professionalism.
Everyone deserves to feel comfortable and respected while having their story documented. That’s the standard I hold myself to in every space I work in.
